Improv Comedy Cagefight CUP - $3,000 in prizes up for grabs!

The Cagefight CUP features over 170 performers in a wild sudden-death knock-out competition.

This is the BIGGEST comedy battle of 2023!

Each night comedians have a limited time to impress you each night with their improvised comedy routine. You - the audience - will decide on your favourite comedians via electronic voting.

At the Cagefight the audience does not get picked on. Instead, the comedians will be competing for your vote! 

The top comedians each night will perform again at the Grand Final event in the Sydney Comedy Festival on 4 May (link to the Grand Final is here).

The competition features six semi-final nights. There is over $3,000 in prizes up for grabs, with audience's favourite comedians each night winning CASH.

We also have a charity night, where audience favourites who didn't make it to the grand final will come back and represent a charity of their choice.

Dates of the competition are as follows:

• 27 February: Semi-Final 1
• 6 March: Semi-Final 2
• 13 March: Semi-Final 3
• 20 March: Semi-Final 4
• 27 March: Semi-Final 5
• 3 April: Semi-Final 6
• 17 April: Semi-Final 7
• 1 May: Charity Night
• 4 May: Grand Final

Door sales are available for $20.
